Identity: Chermayeff Geismar & Haviv – A Celebration of Iconic Graphic Design

I don’t have many books about graphic design, and now I’m thinking maybe I should change that. It’s certainly interesting how much successful designs will create an automatic sense of recognition in everyone’s mind. This book seems like it would be full of inspiring designs from looking at the cover. It looks like inside are mostly pictures of sketches from the design process and the actual finished logo(and other) designs themselves, though it says there are essays by influential designers throughout.
